Ingredients

3 cups milk

1 cup heavy cream

4 tablespoons honey

1 loaf day-old bread, cut into small pieces

1/2 cup pine nuts, toasted

1/2 cup raisins

Ground cinnamon, for sprinkling

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. In a pot, combine the milk and cream. Bring to a boil. Stir in the honey and remove the pot from the heat.
  3. Spread the bread out in a deep baking pan, and sprinkle the pine nuts and raisins on top.
  4. Pour the heated mixture over the bread and sprinkle with a generous amount of cinnamon.
  5. Place the baking pan in the oven and cook for approximately 15 minutes. Serve immediately.
