Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard
- 3 tablespoons minced capers
- 3 tablespoons minced shallots
- 4 tablespoons mixed fresh herbs, such as chives, tarragon, parsley
- Lemon juice, to taste
- Salt, to taste
- Cayenne pepper, to taste
Directions
Mix all ingredients together until well blended.

I have thrown a few fondue parties in the last year. Each one involves the preparation of a few different dipping sauces. I added a bit more mustard than the recipe called for but this ended up complimenting the meats and some of the stronger flavored vegetables (such as broccoli. It may overwhelm seafoods, vegetables and mushrooms though.

delicious dip sauce for artichokes. I added a tablespoon of toasted sesame seeds to the recipe.
