These bite-sized buttery candy chews are a perfect edible gift for sesame lovers. Stirring the sesame seeds into the candy rounds provides a dramatic visual.
Line a baking sheet with parchment, then brush with oil.
Cook the sugar, lemon juice and salt in a skillet over medium-high heat, swirling the pan but not stirring, until dark amber, about 7 minutes. Off the heat, stir in the butter and sesame seeds.
Using an oiled spoon, scoop and spread the sesame mixture into rounds on the prepared baking sheet. Let cool.
