These candies bring back such fond memories from my childhood. They’re easy to make and only have a handful of ingredients. I love the floral sweetness from the honey and the savory flavor from the sesame seeds and cinnamon.
Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper and spray with the cooking spray.
Heat a medium saucepan over medium heat and add the honey, brown sugar and cinnamon. Heat, stirring frequently, until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is bubbling, 2 to 3 minutes. Turn the heat off and add the sesame seeds. Mix well with a silicone spatula.
Working quickly, pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. Spray an offset spatula with nonstick spray and use the spatula to help you smooth the mixture into an even layer. Use the spatula to create a uniform square. Let set at room temperature until set, 10 to 15 minutes.
Use a knife or pizza cutter to cut the mixture into bite-sized candies. Store in an airtight container for up to 7 days.
