Well, I'm glad I made these before I read the last few reviews. These are delicious. They are also a great base for using whatever vegetables you like. My only concern was the egg. The burgers held together better without the egg. These are easy and a great addition to your recipe box.

I made this exactly as listed, but I did mash the beans a bit.
The mixture did not hold together at all.
Taste was ok, but extremely dry.
Not a lot of veggies at all.
Cannot believe this is the best Guy can find.
People, please stop giving recipes like this good marks!!! There are excellent veggie burgers at some good restaurants, and positive reviews for ones like this are only giving veggie burger a worse name.

This is my first time making a veggie burger/patty. I am trying to eat better and wanted to give this a try. I read the reviews, changed a few things, but I really liked them. What I did was used a can of cannelli beans instead of the mixed beans (I don't like black beansI smashed most of them with a potato masher. I followed everything else as listed, but added chopped mushrooms a dash of worcestershire sauce and a 1/2 teaspoon of gravy master. I coated the patties with a mix of seasoned and panko bread crumbs. I would make them a little smaller next time....and I certainly will make them again!
