Ingredients

  • 4 egg yolks
  • 4 teaspoons sugar
  • 4 tablespoons Marsala

Directions

Whisk all ingredients over a double boiler until thickened like pudding. Take on and off the heat while cooking so as not to scramble the eggs.

Serve warm.

    This zabaglione is right on the mark. You have to mix this constantly for a while until it thickens--just drink a glass of champagne as you stir and time will go by quicker! I served the zabaglione over fresh strawberries and was a perfect dessert.

    Awesome! Hubby said it tasted like more. I made a double recipe for 6 people. Other reviews are right, I started with 1/4 c marsala & it was perfect. Chilled it & served over strawbwrries & blueberries. Imersion blender w/ wisk attachment worked great!
