You can create up to five timers

Ingredients

  • 1 cup ginger/lemon simple syrup, recipe follows
  • 1 cup vodka
  • 1 cup lemon juice
  • 4 cups ice
  • Lemon wedges, for garnish

Ginger Simple Syrup:

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 (4-inch) chunk ginger
  • 2 sprigs mint

Directions

Add simple syrup to a blender. Add remaining ingredients and blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and garnish with lemon.

For the syrup:

Bring water to a low simmer and stir until sugar dissolves.

Add ginger and mint and allow to steep for 20 minutes. Strain and chill.

    this is deligious and light and makes for a nice not too sweet cocktail. Unfortunately, my blender was not big enough for a full serving so it did not get slushy enough for me. It is still a BIG hit
