    Unique-great as a side

Rated: 4 stars out of 5
My husband and I ate at Neely's in Memphis today for the first time while vacationing in Memphis. Stopped there because of... the reviews on Foodnetwork and I wanted to try the BBQ. A local recommended we try the BBQ spaghetti. Not wanting to order it as a meal we ordered a side. It was actually pretty tasty, I asked about the recipe at the restaurant and was told it was on the Foodnetwork web. After I looked it up I was surprised to find the topping was all their BBQ sauce. I expected to see a spaghetti sauce with BBQ added for flavor. Either way it was delicious but my husband feels he couldn't eat it solely as a meal, great as a side though, it is on the sweet side. Can't wait to make it at home will play, will the sugar content though. Read more

The first time I made this I didn't tell anyone up front that it was BBQ. They couldn't believe that it was and everyone... loved it. The only bad thing about it was there wasn't any left to have leftovers for lunch. Read more

I started having this for lunch @ interstate bbq when working downtown. I cannot wait to make this - this was a mandatory... stop when visiting memphis over the years - we even shipped it to Seattle. Not sure how many times a week they make it, but it always seemed better as the week went on. Excited to create this for dinnerRead more

You use the term 3 ounces of sugar, is that equal to 2 Tablespoons make one ounce? I found the sauce to be very sweet. When... I made the Spencer's Sloppy Joes and used the one cup of BBQ sauce the recipe was a little sweet. So my question is does one ounce equal 2 Tablespoons?Read more
