Ingredients
- 3 pints assorted colors and flavors of sorbet, such as lemon, raspberry and mango
- 1 pints raspberries and blackberries combined
- 2 kiwis, peeled and sliced
Directions
Pour 1 cup very hot tap water into a glass bowl. Place 2 large serving spoons in the bowl to warm them. Uncover sorbet and let stand 5 minutes. Set out small dessert dishes or bowls. Using the spoons, scooping across the surface of the sorbets, roll sorbet into heaping, oblong scoops resembling eggs. Place an egg shaped scoop of each flavor sorbet on a nest of mixed fresh berries and kiwi slices. Serve.

Several problems..
1 No eggs
2 You want me to go out and buy sorbet instead of trying to make my own.
I'm ashamed that you are on the Food Network. I'll give you a 2 out of 5 to balance out the ratings.

Delicious and easy idea for a dessert and very refreshing. It was a huge hit with all my guests. Rather than serving the sorbet frozen, I melted it then spooned it over fresh blueberries, raspberries, and sliced strawberries. Everyone asked about the delicious sauce that covered the berries. They were all delighted to know how easy it was to make it. Next time, I plan on adding a splash of Grand Marnier to the melted sorbet.

I never would have thought of serving sorbet with fruit. What an idea.
