- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 medium onion, diced
- 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
- 1 (28-ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil leaves
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
In a medium pot heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and saute for 3 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for another 15 minutes.
