Ingredients

  • Ice cubes
  • 1/2 cup tomato juice
  • 1 dash Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 dash hot sauce
  • Splash olive juice
  • 1 (12-ounce) bottle ale style beer
  • Pimento stuffed olive, for garnish

Directions

In a frosted beer mug filled with ice, combine tomato juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce and a splash of olive juice. Pour in cold beer. Garnish with olive.

    If you want a really EASY red beer, especially when you are tailgating and on the go, you can't beat bloodyfine.com bloody mary mix. Mix with tomato juice and add to any ale, it is truly awesome!

    I left out the ice cubes and used a frozen mug, and then the other ingredients, except I used a good dash of Habeñero hot sauce. WooHoo, that will clear out the sinuses, but with a good, hot, back taste heat that was quite pleasing. I Like this! Thanks for a great idea, I would never have thought of the olive juice and Worcestershire sauce. Thanks!

    First time, I used Miller Genuine Draft. Tasted o.k., but nothing special. Second time, I used Bass Ale. Was quite nice. Will be trying this again with either a Sam Smith's or a Newcastle.
