  1. Mash 6 hard-boiled egg yolks, 3/4 cup mayonnaise, 1 1/2 teaspoons truffle oil and a pinch of cayenne. Mix in 1 tablespoon chopped jarred black truffles, if desired. Spoon into the egg whites and top with chopped chives.

I'm sorry to say that one day my grandson (age 11) and I made this recipe and the truffled yolks never made it into the beautiful whites. Between the two of us, we savored the truffled yolks directly from the pastry bag that I was going to use to pipe the yolks into the whites. These deviled eggs are the only ones that I have made for a number of years and this is my first review! Thank You, Anne- I love your recipes!
