Ingredients

3 eggs

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 soup spoon sugar

1 cup milk

2 cups all-purpose flour

Splash vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Mix the eggs, salt and sugar until thoroughly blended. Stir in 1 cup of milk. Add flour until a thick batter is formed. Add a splash of vegetable oil to mixture. Pour the batter into a hot, oiled skillet. Fry until golden on 1 side, then flip over and brown the other side.

I read the recipe and saw that it was written badly. There should be an additional line that reads: <br /> <br />Pour a ladleful of batter into prepared pan, twirling pan to coat the bottom. <br /> <br />The current recipe sounds as if you pour all the batter in at once. I've made lots of crepes and know this, but a novice, not seeing the show, would not.
