Ingredients

2 to 3 tablespoons oil

1 cup long grain white rice

2 cups stock

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Lightly brown the rice in oil in a 1-quart, ovenproof saucepan. Bring the stock to a boil and pour over the rice, take caution because this can create a lot of hot steam. Bake covered for 30 to 40 minutes, until rice is tender and fluffy.

Wow! So easy and delish. The rice toasts a bit and the broth adds flavor. The rice was cooked perfectly and the only addition I made was some finely chopped fresh parsley. I will never do stove top rice again.
