Bossy Big Sister Pizza

Ingredients

Pizza:

One 14-inch pizza dough (store-bought or homemade), stretched and ready for toppings

6 ounces pizza sauce 

6 ounces mozzarella, shredded

3 ounces black olives 

2 1/2 ounces sliced mushrooms 

2 ounces bell peppers, sliced

2 ounces red onion, sliced

5 ounces chopped cooked chicken 

3 ounces pepperoni 

Pasta Topping:

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/4 ounce minced garlic 

1 1/2 ounces black olives 

1 1/4 ounces sliced mushrooms 

1 ounce red onion, chopped

1 ounce bell peppers, chopped

7 ounces einkorn penne, cooked

3 ounces pizza sauce 

2 ounces blue cheese crumbles 

Directions

  1. For the pizza: Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
  2. Place the dough on a pizza pan. Spread the sauce on the dough. Top with mozzarella, black olives, mushrooms, bell peppers and onions. Add chicken and pepperoni. Bake for 7 minutes.
  3. For the pasta topping: Meanwhile, drizzle olive oil in a heated saute pan. Add garlic and cook until fragrant. Add olives, mushrooms, onion and bell peppers. Saute until tender. Add cooked pasta and pizza sauce. Saute until heated through.
  4. Remove pizza from oven and top with pasta and blue cheese crumbles. Take off pan and put directly on an oven rack. Bake until desired crispness, another 3 to 5 minutes. Place pizza on a cutting board and slice into 8 pieces.
