Ingredients

2 pounds top sirloin (cut into 1-inch cubes)

1 tablespoon salt

1/2 tablespoon pepper

1/2 tablespoon granulated garlic

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 medium onion, chopped

1 bell pepper, chopped

2 tomatoes, diced

2 medium potatoes, cubed

1/2 cup tomato sauce

Flour tortillas, for serving

Directions

  1. Place meat in a deep pan at medium heat and season with salt, pepper, and garlic. Cover and simmer until meat is about 3/4 cooked. Remove all juices and set aside. Next, add 1 tablespoon of oil to meat and add onion, bell pepper, tomatoes, and potatoes. Let cook until onion is slightly browned. Add tomato sauce and juices from meat and simmer for approximately 15 minutes over low to medium heat. Serve with delicious flour tortillas and enjoy.

I am from Texas, but now in Florida. I have made this recipe and also own a cook book by Diane Barrios. Most of the Recipes have been sub-standard. I have not and would not waste anymore time trying to recreate these recipes. I'm Sorry for such a harsh review, but just very disappointed.
