Ingredients
8 ounces country white, sourdough or whole-grain bread, cut into 3/4-inch cubes
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon granulated garlic
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
Directions
Special equipment:
a 6-quart air fryer- Toss the bread, olive oil, oregano, garlic, 3/4 teaspoon salt and several grinds of pepper in a large bowl until evenly combined.
- Preheat a 6-quart air fryer to 350 degrees F. Add the seasoned bread cubes in an even layer to the air fryer basket. Cook, tossing halfway through, until golden brown and toasted, 5 to 6 minutes.
Cook’s Note
To dry out bread for stuffing, dressing and other bread puddings, cook the plain bread cubes (no oil or seasonings) in the air fryer at 350 degrees F until toasted and dried through, 4 to 5 minutes.
