Friendsgiving Party Punch

Ingredients
1 liter ginger ale
Fresh cranberries, for the ice cubes
4 cups cranberry juice, chilled
1 bottle champagne, chilled
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
12 ounces vodka, optional
1 orange, sliced
Directions
- Pour half of the ginger ale into ice cube trays, add a few cranberries to each compartment and freeze until almost solid, at least 4 hours.
- Add the cranberry juice, champagne, lemon juice, remaining ginger ale and vodka if using to a punch bowl and stir to combine. Add the ginger ale-cranberry ice cubes and sliced oranges to the punch.
Cook’s Note
Freezing ginger ale into ice cubes prevents the punch from becoming watery.
