Directions

  1. Mash 1 stick softened butter with 2 tablespoons olive oil, 4 grated garlic cloves, 3 tablespoons minced parsley, 1 teaspoon dried oregano and 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes in a small bowl. Spread on a split loaf of Italian bread; place cut-side up on a baking sheet and season with salt. Bake at 475 degrees F until golden, 10 to 12 minutes. Cut into pieces.
