Prosciutto Bread

Ingredients

One 11-ounce tube refrigerated French bread dough

1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

8 slices prosciutto

Olive oil, for brushing

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the French bread dough and sprinkle with the pepper. Cover with the prosciutto. Roll into a log and twist, pulling and shaping it into an 8-inch ring. Pinch the ends together. 
  3. Place on the prepared baking sheet, brush with the oil and bake until golden, 20 minutes. Brush with more oil; bake 5 more minutes. Remove from the oven and brush with more oil before serving.

Well I just put in the oven Prosciutto and Sopressata & shredded mozzarella with a few slices of provolone all rolled up in Walmart pizza dough..that's a good combination..we'll see..
