Pumpkin Spice Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 sticks cooled melted butter

2 eggs

3/4 cup granulated sugar

3/4 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk the flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking soda, baking powder and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Whisk the melted butter, eggs, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in a second large bowl. Add the flour mixture and stir to combine with a wooden spoon. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  4. Scoop the dough onto the parchment-lined baking sheets and bake until golden, 16 to 18 minutes.

This recipe is from Food Networks - The Big, Fun Kids Baking Book. The cookies came out perfectly for us at 16 minutes. The recipe was good with the perfect amount of pumpkin spice but a tad too sweet for us.
