Raspberry-Rum Lemonade

To give this drink its pretty pink color, muddle raspberries in a pitcher until they’re juicy — and add some whole berries to each glass.

Ingredients

Zest of 4 lemons (in wide strips), plus 2 cups fresh lemon juice, plus lemon slices for garnish

3 cups raspberries 

1/2 cup sugar

1 1/2 cups dark rum

2 cups sparkling white wine

Directions

  1. Muddle the lemon zest, 2 cups raspberries and the sugar in a pitcher using a wooden spoon.
  2. Add the lemon juice, rum, remaining 1 cup raspberries and some lemon slices to the pitcher. Stir in the sparkling wine.
  3. Fill glasses with ice. Pour in the drink and garnish with more lemon slices.
