Ingredients
Vegetable oil, for brushing
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon butter
8 ounces toasted sesame seeds
Directions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment, then brush with oil.
- Cook the sugar, lemon juice and salt in a skillet over medium-high heat, swirling the pan but not stirring, until dark amber, about 7 minutes. Off the heat, stir in the butter and sesame seeds.
- Using an oiled spoon, scoop and spread the sesame mixture into rounds on the prepared baking sheet. Let cool.
