Sugar Cookie Sparkler

This holiday-inspired take on a Champagne cocktail uses vanilla-flavored vodka, and has a rim coated with sugar and colorful nonpareils as a playful nod to a decorative sugar cookie.

Ingredients

2 tablespoons sugar

2 tablespoons holiday nonpareils

1 sugar cube

Angostura bitters

1 ounce vanilla vodka, chilled

Prosecco, for topping

Directions

  1. Mix the sugar and holiday nonpareils in a small shallow dish. Put some water in a second shallow dish. Dip the rim of a champagne flute in the water, then dip in the sugar-nonpareil mixture. Drop a sugar cube into the glass and sprinkle with a few dashes of Angostura bitters. Add the vanilla vodka, then top with prosecco.
