Fresh Mint Tea

  • Level: Easy
  • Yield: 2 quarts

Ingredients

2 quarts water

1/4 cup milk

1/4 cup half and half

1/3 cup granulated sugar

1 bunch fresh mint

Directions

  1. Bring water to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. Add milk, half and half and sugar and simmer for 15 minutes. Add mint and simmer an additional 30 minutes. Strain and serve hot, or chill on a bowl of ice and serve cold.

This tea was so good! I have mint growing in my garden and didn't want it to go to waste. I'm not a fan of mint, but with fresh mint you don't get that strong peppermint flavor. I will be making this over and over again! Thanks for the recipe!
