Ingredients
Oil, for cooking
6 cloves garlic, chopped
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 giant freshwater prawns, cut in half
1 tablespoon seasoning sauce, such as Maggi
1 tablespoon Thai seasoning sauce, such as Golden Mountain
1 tablespoon light soy sauce
2 teaspoons sugar
Steamed broccoli, cabbage and carrots, for serving
Directions
- Heat the oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and stir-fry until brown, then add the pepper. Cook, stirring, until fragrant, about 2 minutes. Add the prawns. Cook, tossing occasionally, until the prawns are pink and cooked through, 3 to 4 minutes. Remove from heat, then add the seasoning sauce, Thai seasoning sauce, soy sauce and sugar. Toss to combine.
- Serve the prawns with the mixed veggies.
