Ingredients

1/3 cup low-sodium tamari

1 tablespoon grated peeled ginger

1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil

1/2 teaspoon lime zest and 1 1/2 teaspoons lime juice

1 1/2 pounds chicken wings, split, wing tips removed

Nonstick cooking spray

1 teaspoon white sesame seeds, toasted

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the tamari, ginger, sesame oil, lime zest and juice, and 2 tablespoons water. Place the chicken wings in a resealable plastic bag, pour in the marinade and seal the bag. Toss the wings in the marinade and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.
  2. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
  3. Line a small rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with nonstick cooking spray. Pour the chicken and its marinade onto the baking sheet; bake until the wings are cooked through, flipping midway, 25 minutes.
  4. Preheat the broiler to high. Broil the wings until golden brown and glazed, 3 minutes. Serve sprinkled with the sesame seeds.

Easy, tasty dish. I liked it. My kids were not too crazy about it, but they are pretty finicky.
