1 teaspoon allspice

1 teaspoon bay leaves

1 teaspoon Hungarian paprika

1 cup diced pickles

  4. Next, add the potatoes, sausage, leeks, allspice, bay leaves and Hungarian paprika and cook for another 15 minutes.
  5. Add the pickles, garlic and seasoning if using, and let boil for 10 minutes. Add the dill and heavy cream and season with salt and pepper. Guten Appetit!

What started out as a joke has become a New Year's Day tradition with our family and friends. Hangover Soup, Bavarian Rye, Football - the perfect hangover day. <br />Wondering if anyone has tried Rotel for the crushed tomatoes. I usually use fire-roasted but thinking about changing it up.
