Honey Q Cuz Chops

Ingredients

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 tablespoon garlic salt

1/2 tablespoon mesquite spice

1/4 cup your favorite rub (recommended: Cuz Rub)

6 pork chops

Directions

  1. Preheat a grill.
  2. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, garlic salt, mesquite spice, and the rub. Rub mixture on both sides of the pork chops. Place pork chops on grill and cook on both sides until pork reaches an internal temperature of 150 degrees F, about 5 minutes on each side (cooking time will vary based on the thickness of the chops). Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

I made and used chipotle powder in place of the mesquite since I didn't have it on hand. The chops were great . They were hot and spicy with the chipotle powder, but we like them that way.
