Ingredients
1 green teabag
1 cup (250 milliliters) boiling water
1 cup (250 milliliters) frozen pineapple chunks
1 frozen banana
1/2 cup (125 milliliters) packed baby spinach
1/2 cup (125 milliliters) frozen cauliflower florets
2 teaspoons (10 milliliters) fresh lemon juice
Directions
- Add the teabag to a mug and pour in the boiling water. Let the tea steep for exactly 3 minutes. Remove the teabag and discard, and let the tea cool for 10 minutes.
- Blend the green tea, pineapple, banana, spinach, cauliflower and lemon juice in a blender on high until smooth, 30 to 45 seconds. Pour into two glasses and serve immediately.
Cook’s Note
When steeping green tea, set a timer. Steep for exactly 3 minutes to get the most flavor without it getting bitter.
