Boozy Michelada

Ingredients

4 cups tomato juice

2 cups clam-tomato juice, such as Clamato

2 cups gold tequila 

1/4 cup lime juice 

2 tablespoons prepared horseradish 

3 or 4 dashes hot sauce 

3 or 4 dashes Worcestershire sauce 

1/4 cup kosher salt 

1 teaspoon chili powder 

10 cans Mexican lager beer

Ice, for serving 

Directions

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the tomato juice, clam-tomato juice, tequila, lime juice, horseradish, hot sauce and Worcestershire sauce. Stir well.
  2. In a small shallow dish, whisk to combine the salt and chili powder.
  3. Dip glass rims in the salt mixture to coat. Fill glasses with ice, then fill halfway with tomato-tequila mixture. Top off with beer and serve.
