Pico de Gallo

Ingredients

2 cups diced red tomatoes

1/2 cup diced white onion

1/4 cup chopped cilantro

2 tablespoons seeded and finely chopped jalapeno pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons lime juice

Directions

  1. Toss all ingredients in a non-reactive bowl. Refrigerate for 2 hours to allow flavors to marry. Serve chilled.

My husband wanted Pico de Gallo and I wanted a recipe that didn't take alot of time and the ingrediants that were either on hand or easy to get. My husband told me it was FANTASTIC!!!! He complimented me on it during our whole meal. I halved it as it is only the 2 of us, but already am planning other meals around it. I recommend this 100%.
