Ingredients

1 teaspoon kosher salt

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

3 pinches seasoned salt, such as Lawry’s

8 ounces top grade Angus beef

1 slice sharp Cheddar

1 teaspoon hoisin sauce

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 brioche bun, lightly toasted

1 slice red onion

2 strips cooked applewood smoked bacon

1 basted egg

Directions

  1. Add the kosher salt, pepper and seasoned salt to the beef. Form the beef into one big patty. Fry the burger on a flat grill on medium-high heat for 3 to 4 minutes on each side for a medium cooked burger. Add your cheese on top to melt.
  2. Add the hoisin and Dijon to the bottom bun, then add your patty. To the top bun, add the onion, bacon and your egg.

Cook’s Note

Serve this with fries or onion rings if you’d like.
