Wilted Swiss Chard with Garlic and Soy Nuts

Ingredients

2 teaspoons olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

8 cups chopped fresh Swiss chard

Salt and ground black pepper

1/4 cup roasted soy nuts

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook 1 minute. Add Swiss chard and cook 3 to 5 minutes, until wilted. Season with salt and black pepper.
  2. Remove from heat and garnish with soy nuts.

This is indeed a pretty basic recipe, but the addition of the garlic was sort of new to me I guess. Sort of. I usually use a dash of vinegar. Subbed toasted sliced almonds for the soy nuts, as I'm allergic to soy. Just an idea for all those other soy-allergic people out there :) <br />
