Sauteed Swiss Chard

Ingredients

3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

5 cloves garlic, sliced thin

1 bunch Swiss chard, washed, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces

Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

Directions

  1. In a large saute pan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add garlic and saute until pale golden color, about 1 minute. Add Swiss chard and saute until soft, but still crisp, about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

Excellent recipe so easy on a hectic weekday. I do add a chopped onion some times sliced red pepper.
