Ingredients
2 teaspoons superfine sugar
8 dashes bitters
12 ounces bourbon or whiskey
4 ounces Pernod
Ice
4 strips lemon peel
Directions
Special equipment:
a cocktail shaker; a muddler- Muddle the sugar and bitters in a cocktail shaker until the sugar dissolves. Add the bourbon, Pernod and some ice. Shake to combine. Strain into 4 rocks glasses. Garnish with the lemon peels.
