Ingredients
6 tablespoons salted butter, plus more for the baking pan
One 16-ounce package large marshmallows
8 1/2 cups graham cracker cereal, such as Golden Grahams
Three 1.55-ounce chocolate bars, such as Hershey’s
1 1/2 cups dehydrated shaped marshmallows, such as Lucky Charms marshmallows
Directions
- Butter a 9-by-13-inch baking pan. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Add the large marshmallows and cook, stirring occasionally, until completely melted, about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat.
- Pour 8 cups of the cereal in a large bowl. Cut the chocolate bar into the smaller rectangles along the bar. Set aside one bar’s worth of chocolate rectangles.
- Pour the melted marshmallow mixture over the cereal. Add the chocolate rectangles from 2 of the bars, stirring to combine.
- Working quickly, press the cereal mixture into the prepared pan. Garnish the top with the remaining 1/2 cup cereal, chocolate rectangles from the reserved bar and dehydrated shaped marshmallows. Let cool to room temperature before cutting into squares.
