Spicy Nut and Raisin Mix

Ingredients

2 tablespoons peanut oil

2 cloves garlic, crushed

2/3 cup unblanched almonds

2/3 cup pine nuts

2/3 cup unsalted cashews

2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

2 teaspoons chile powder

1 teaspoon cayenne

1 1/3 cups thin pretzel sticks, broken in 1inch pieces

1 cup seedless raisins

1 teaspoon sea salt

Directions

  1. In a large cast iron skillet, over a medium heat, warm the oil. Add the garlic and cook 1 to 2 minutes. Add the almonds, pine nuts, and cashews. Add the Worcestershire sauce, chile powder, and cayenne. Mix well.
  2. Stir in the pretzels and cook 3 to 4 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat. Add the raisins and salt. Mix well.
  3. Turn the mixture into a serving dish and cool.
