Tahini Milkshake

Ingredients

2 cups vanilla ice cream

3/4 cup whole milk 

1/2 cup tahini 

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 

Pinch of ground cinnamon 

Drizzle of chocolate syrup, optional 

Handful of crushed chocolate cookies (homemade or store-bought) 

Fresh whipped cream, for topping

Rainbow sprinkles, for topping

Directions

  1. In a blender, combine the ice cream, milk, tahini, vanilla and cinnamon and blend to combine. Pour into glasses and top with a drizzle of chocolate syrup if using, crushed cookies, whipped cream and sprinkles.

Delicious. Not too sweet which made it perfect. Don’t forget- tahini is sesame and has a slightly bitter aftertaste if not well balanced. For those of us who grew up with this taste, this is a great recipe. Not sure those who are new to this flavor will totally embrace it….. try it! You never know!
