Bloody Maria with Homemade Mix

Ingredients

Ice

6 ounces Homemade Mix, recipe follows

2 ounces tequila

Celery, for garnish

Lemon wedge, for garnish

Castelvetrano olives, for garnish

Pepperoncini, for garnish

Homemade Mix:

32 ounces tomato juice

1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice

1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish

1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce

1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt

1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Directions

  1. Add ice to a cocktail shaker and top with the Homemade Mix and tequila. Place the top on the shaker and shake vigorously for 10 to 15 seconds.
  2. Fill a glass with ice. Strain the cocktail over the ice. Garnish with the celery, lemon wedge, olives and pepperoncini.

Homemade Mix:

  1. Add the tomato juice, lemon juice, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper to a large measuring cup and mix to evenly combine. The mix can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
