White Sangria

Ingredients

1 (750 ml) white wine (a Spanish white, made from grape varietals like Albarino, Sauvignon Blanc, Verdejo, Viura, Torrontes, or Godello)

1/4 cup brandy

1/4 cup peach schnapps

1 to 2 oranges, cut into chunks

1 to 2 apples, cut into chunks

1 to 2 peaches, cut into chunks

Directions

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the ingredients. Stir and let sit for at least 2 hours, refrigerated. Serve plain, over ice, or with soda water.

I used Barefoot Pinot Grigio, added about 1/4 cup sugar, and used OJ instead of brandy. Turned out cool and refreshing. Not too sweet and the Peach Schnapps adds a nice kick. Will make again soon.
