Ingredients

1 pound salted butter

4 ounces bleu cheese crumbles, plus additional for sprinkling

4 ounces mayonnaise

4 ounces sour cream

0.5 ounce dry rub

64 ounces hot sauce

Canola oil, for frying

2 pounds chicken wings

Directions

  1. Combine the butter, bleu cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream and dry rub in a saucepan on medium-high heat until melted, stirring occasionally. Add the hot sauce and let simmer for 5 minutes, then remove from the heat and pour into a blender. Blend until smooth.
  2. Preheat the oil in a deep-fryer or Dutch oven fitted with a deep-fry thermometer to 375 degrees F.
  3. Fry the wings, in batches, until brown and crispy, 6 to 8 minutes.
  4. Toss the wings in a bowl with 3 ounces Spicy Bleu 17. Reserve the remaining sauce for another use.
  5. Plate the sauced wings, then add bleu cheese crumbles on top.

So no listing for the ingredients for the dry rub and Double Dub's does not make it for sale either. What a waste of what looked like a good recipe. Me driving to Wyoming in the dead of winter to try the wings is also not happening.
