Louie's, an Italian farm-to-fork, restaurant, takes full advantage of Portsmouth's local bounty, exemplified in the Duck Minestrone. The chefs start with a classic Italian minestrone, add in local duck, then give it a Southern twist by mixing in black-eyed peas and kale with other more traditional vegetables from nearby farms. Each bowl is topped with a homemade biscuit and loads of chives.
