A Cinnabon-Chocolate-Chip-Cookie Mash-Up Is Here to Ruin Your Diet
Cinnabon is now tucking bite-size versions of its signature cinnamon rolls inside chocolate chip cookies.
Further evidence that food mash-ups, as a concept, never get old: Cinnabon, purveyors of aromatic sticky buns, is now tucking bite-size versions of its signature cinnamon rolls inside chocolate chip cookies and selling them as one seriously indulgent treat. (It also proves that this definitely isn’t the week to start your pre-holiday diet.)
Cookie BonBites, as they are called, made their decadent debut on December 4 (National Cookie Day, not coincidentally) and will be available at Cinnabons nationwide for a limited time only.
Jill Thomas, vice president of global marketing for Cinnabon, has called the Cookie BonBite, which uses fresh cookie dough from Nashville-based Christie Cookie Company, “the ultimate cookie experience” and “an unexpected out-of-this-world flavor combination.”
"The Cookie BonBite is one of our yummiest examples of creativity to come out of the innovation kitchen," Thomas said in a release.
You’ll find Cookie BonBites ($2.99 apiece or $9.99 for six) wherever you find Cinnabons — at the mall, in the airport, at the travel plaza as you make your way to your holiday destinations. Or it may be more accurate to say that the Cookie BonBites aroma will find you …
