Saute chopped fresh herbs in butter; add 1 jar pasta sauce, 2 cups water, 1/2 cup heavy cream and a pinch of nutmeg; simmer for 5 minutes.

    This was such a great idea. So Easy. You can be creative with ingredients to match your mood or dinner theme...I used Classico Italian Sausage Sauce, Fresh garlic, chicken stock (instead of water half and half (instead of heavy cream , Italian seasoning, salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle the top with fresh grated parmesan Romano cheese and served with grilled cheese sandwiches. I will use this again...so much better then the canned tomato soup from the grocery store.. Both my husband and I LOVED it.

    Who knew something so easy could be so good! I used Prego Traditional sauce because it is Gluten Free. I added a large handful of chopped basil. It was a little thin for my taste so I just let it cook down until it was thicker. I also added a dash of cayenne because I like spice with tomatoes. The whole family loved it!
