Ingredients

  • 4 mini croissants, sliced in 1/2
  • 1/2 cup marshmallow cream
  • 4 thin squares good-quality bittersweet chocolate
  • Coarse sea salt

Directions

Over a heated, medium-low grill, toast the croissants for 1 minute. Remove from the grill and spread 2 tablespoons marshmallow cream and 1 chocolate square onto each croissant. Sprinkle with coarse salt and place the top slice of the croissant back to make a sandwich. Place the toasts back on the grill. Close the grill cover and allow the chocolate to melt, about 30 to 45 seconds.

Remove the toasts from the grill and serve warm.

WOW! What a great way to make a smore without the campfire. I tried this recipe after watching your show, and my 19 year old daughter loved it! I used milk chocolate instead, and I thought they were delicious as well and so easy to make. Unfortunately, I am now buying chocolate every week while my daughter is home from college.

These are GREAT! Very easy to assemble on spur of the moment and when you just have that 'craving' for something sweet!

This recipe looks so simple that you think it can't be that great. Wrong! The combo of sweet, salt, smooth and flaky is such a wonderful combination - my husband was asking for seconds before he finished the first one!

Just proves that something so good doesn't have to be so complicated.
