1/8 cup of sugar per smoothie does not make it unhealthy. Fruit and yogurt are healthy. Delicious!

I have made this shake a few times. Both times I did not add sugar. Instead I added a teaspoon of Honey. Next time I will make it without any added sweetness because the apple juice gives this shake an ample amount of savory sweetness. I can't wait to freeze a batch of this as ice cream!

I love this recipe!! Super simple to make and the taste just hits home. Reminds me of an upscale smoothie shop (is there such a thing?. I am sorry to say that I have not tried changing the recipe at all, though I don't see the point in doing so, the taste is all there! Sugar doesn't bother me: if you are looking for a healthier smoothie keep looking. Fantastic, simple to make. Revs up any morning and gives me the energy I need.
