Ingredients

  • 1 clove garlic, cut in half
  • 1/2 loaf leftover bread
  • 3/4 cup cranberry sauce
  • 3/4 cup crumbled blue cheese

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Slice the bread, rub with cut garlic clove and place in a heated dry cast iron grill pan on the stove top. Cook until toasted, about 2 minutes. Flip and toast the other side, about 1 minute more.

Slather the bread with leftover cranberry sauce, top with crumbled blue cheese. Place in the oven until cheese melts and serve.

    This was absolutely delicious on sour dough bread using whole berry cranberry sauce and gorgonzola. I made it from memory having watched the show a few days before so I forgot about the garlic. I'll definitely add that next time, although it was fantastic without it.

    Bruschetta is the tomato topping not the crunchy bread.

    However, I will definitely be making this Crostini on Friday b/c it sounds absolutely delicious!!
