Ingredients

  • 4 (4-ounce) boneless pork chops
  • Salt and ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt-free garlic and herb seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup reduced-sodium beef broth
  • 1/2 cup chopped pickled jalapenos
  • 1/4 cup honey

Directions

Place pork chops between 2 pieces of plastic wrap and pound with a meat mallet or rolling pin until about 1/2-inch thick. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.

In a shallow dish, combine flour and garlic and herb seasoning. Mix well. Add pork to flour mixture and turn to coat both sides.

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add pork and cook 2 minutes per side, until golden brown. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine beef broth, jalapenos and honey. Mix until blended. Add broth-jalapeno mixture to the pork and bring to a simmer. Simmer 3 to 5 minutes, until pork is cooked through and sauce thickens.

Really good! I made this with red mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. My husband absolutely loved the sauce.

Quick and easy to prepare (side of roasted reds for company. It pleases all with it's spicy heat and sweet combination.
Try it, you will love it.
(A little spicy for our little one, so we use less heat.

Just made it today, I had to water it down with some more beef broth as it was too spicy for the kids but made a aju out of it and sliced the pork up, toasted some rolls and made a meal into a sandwich!! Thanks Jeff Morro , you inspired me to make this meal into a sandwich! Hope you come back soon!
