Toum Turkey

Forgo tradition, but don't forget the turkey. Use a dry brine and toum, a Lebanese garlic sauce, to add a ton of flavor without all the hassle of a traditionally brined turkey. Dry-brine the bird eight to 24 hours in advance, then use your food processor to easily make the lemony toum.

Elotes Corn Pudding

Move over, canned corn. This crowd-pleasing casserole is reminiscent of Mexican street corn, slightly sweet yet cheesy, and it's everything you want in a Thanksgiving side: irresistible. A bag of microwave buttered popcorn makes for a surprisingly delicious topping, mixed with tangy and salty Tajin spice.
